Poi, in auto sino a Kigali in Rwanda.

One thing is for sure: I won’t touch a brush for the next six months since I’ll go back home!!
We started painting again non-stop last Friday (Febr. 22nd) and I’m becoming a real professional!
There’s much to do now that the builders have left and works have been completed, but it’s not an easy task. Moreover, I’ve always hated painting the first coat on freshly cemented walls. It’s something that I had to do, and I did. After that, however, I was able to carve my own niche: to fill in the lines of the concrete with thick paint. Once the paint is dried off, it makes the wall smoother and almost perfect for the second coat.
Now, what else to comment? I’m here to help and I think I’m doing my best.
In the turmoil of the painting works, I forgot to say that I was able to make reservation for the holiday I was dreaming of since last year.
I will take the last week of my stay in Uganda off, to visit new places in the south-west of the country. In particular, I’ll be going to the Bwindi Impenetrable Forest, home of the silver back gorillas, hoping to meet them in their natural habitat. Then, I’ll be driven to Kigali in Rwanda where I’m going to spend the last three days. Scheduled return flight is on March 28th from Kigali.
Although the holiday is short, I’ll  have the opportunity to visit an unknown to me part of the country which, according to what I read in my guidebook, is supposed to be one of the best of the “Pearl of Africa”.
This definition (the “Pearl of Africa”) was given to Uganda by Winston Churchill when he visited the country in 1908. I couldn’t agree more!
